PlopMap

PlopMap will allow the following operations:

Easily upload map layers (support of Mapinfo TABs in addition to ESRI shapes would be key)
Allow uploading of Raster orthos
Easily pick the DEFAULT geometry's line-type, line-thickness, line-color and fill-pattern and fill-color for uploaded layers
Easily determine the appropriate projection for uploaded layers
Provide visual feedback to confirm the uploading took place correctly (using fixed GoogleMaps raster backdrop?)
Enable pop-up bubbles to show attribute information by clicking on a geometry
Allow association of multimedia files (photos, videos, sounds) to map elements
Enable pop-ups to show multimedia files attached to map elements
